HIVPA Study Days

The next HIVPA study day is 8th November, 2017

This study day is open to any pharmacy, healthcare staff and those with a special interest in HIV so please feel free to share information about this event with your colleagues. Attendance at this meeting is free for HIVPA members.  A small charge of £15 is required for non members, payable in advance.

The Study Days are held at the Pullman hotel, 100-110 Euston Road, London NW1 2AJ near Euston and Kings Cross train stations. Pullman Hotel website (opens in new window)

HIVPA 2017 Study Days

HIVPA hold four Study Days during the year. All meetings are full day events and typically start at 9.30am and close at around 4.30pm.

  • 7th February 2017: An Introduction to HIV - click here for the programme

HIVPA 2018 Study Days

  • 7th February, 2018: Pregnancy, adolescents, contraception and menopause
  • 24th April, 2018:  An introduction to HIV
  • 19th September, 2018:  Research, cure, "How to": do critical appraisal, maybe looking at an actual trail, journal style session,  fake news, advanced practice, posters
  • 7th November, 2018:  New treatment guidelines, resistance and switch
